The General Chapter is, for each congregation, a sign of unity in the charity. We, the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters, celebrate it every six years and participate in it all the representative sisters of the whole Congregation around the world. It is a moment of fraternity and deep reflection about the process lived by the Congregation during the last six years and of confrontation about the reality of the world and of the Church; as conclusion, usually we outline together, the commitments and action lines for the following six-year. During the Chapter, the sisters elect the General Superior and her Council that will accompany the Congregation towards the next Chapter.
We celebrated our last General Chapter in 2016 and in its Final Document we collected four options that will help us to strengthen and make more meaningful our life and mission, during the period 2016-2022:
To give a new living mean to our charism.
To revitalize formation, centering it in Jesus Christ, personalized and inculturated.
To assume the Restructuring process in its stage of growth and transformation.
To live a fraternal economy that creates bonds and a solidarity commitment.
