In May 2019, when we had reached almost “halfway” of the six-year term, in our house at in the Sanctuary of Montiel, cradle of the Congregation, we celebrated the Fifth Extended General Council, an encounter of sisters whose objective was sharing about our religious Family concerns and to reflect together about the Post-Synodal Document “Christus vivit” whose subject is on young people, faith and vocational discernment; a theme particularly significant for us, Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family, who are called to make present today the charism of Father Luis who always paid special attention to young people and their growth in faith.
The Sisters of the General Government Team, the Superior of the different demarcations and other sisters particularly committed to work with young people participated in it.
The fruit of our reflection collected in the Document: "Living the evangelical and charismatic radicalism: a new way of meeting with the young generations and an alternative proposal for them" is for us a life commitment to strengthen the gift of our vocation of consecrated women according to our charisma.
To help ourselves to reach this aim we will commit ourselves:
To be local communities open to young people, than reflect and transmit charismatic values.
To engage ourselves in dialoguing with the present culture of young people, to generate in them processes leading them to discover God's plan in their lives.
To strengthen and update our charismatic identity, according to the reality, to motivates and recreates our existence in the different stages of formation formative and in the different cultures where we are.
To give new meaning to the way we express our charism in our communities and to respond to the cry of new poverties, awakening in us the audacity of compassion.
