For the young women who like to know better the essence and exigencies of our consecrated life as Capuchin Tertiary Sisters and for experiencing our form of life, the Church reserves a privileged time of formation called the Novitiate that help them to prepares themselves for the first profession.
At present, in our religious Family we have three novitiates: in Guatemala, Spanish-speaking, for the novices from Europe and Latin America; in the Philippines, English-speaking, for novices from Asia and, in Benin, French-speaking, for novices from Africa.
As an international Congregation, although Spanish continues to be the common language for the whole Congregation, we try to promote learning other languages as well, and above all, the intercultural life sharing, a challenge we are facing today, at all levels..
